About me

My name is Chris Mags and I'm based in Seattle, Washington, USA. By day I work in the tech industry, but I'm also a traveler and black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It was only natural for me to combine my interests in tech, travel, and martial arts into another passion--sports photography. I travel the United States, Asia, Oceania and beyond to capture images from combat sports such as boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and MMA.

I've had the honor of photographing major Brazilian Jiu Jitsu events, including:

- IBJJF Pan Ams, Long Beach, CA

- IBJJF Master Worlds, Las Vegas, NV

- IBJJF Kids Con, Las Vegas NV

- IBJJF Seattle Open, Seattle, WA

- IBJJF Asian Championships, Nagoya, Japan

- Fight2Win, Seattle, WA

- Fight2Win, Honolulu, HI
